He has experience across private equity and venture capital, as well as Investment Banking and M&A, participating in the evaluation, structuring and analysis of transactions. His background also includes private asset valuation, financial analysis and capital structuring, providing him with an integrated perspective on risk, value and returns.
At Meridion, he combines financial discipline with an active value creation approach, working closely with shareholders and management teams to strengthen capital structures, accelerate growth, improve corporate governance and institutionalize companies for their next stage of development.

Luis Martínez Baker is Managing Partner, Sustainable Finance at Meridion Capital. He brings more than ten years of experience developing financial structures and models, with a focus on sustainable finance, ESG analysis and sustainability-linked financing solutions. His background includes Clean Energy Capital and specialized postgraduate studies at the University of Salamanca covering sustainable finance instruments, ESG frameworks, green bond structuring and financial regulatory compliance.
At Meridion, Luis integrates environmental, social and governance considerations into investment analysis and value creation plans, focusing on material factors that can strengthen resilience, reduce risk, improve efficiency and broaden access to capital.
